About the Role

The Wine Advisor is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Independent Contractor Wine Consultants. In this role, you'll conduct in-store wine demonstrations and road show events at major retail locations — engaging customers, sharing your knowledge, and helping drive sales for some of the industry's most recognized wine brands.

What You'll Do

• Set up and conduct in-store wine demonstrations at retail locations (Costco, Sam's Club, Safeway, and more)
• Engage customers through education and conversation — sharing vintage quality, winery stories, and wine characteristics
• Represent nationally recognized wineries and spirits brands with professionalism
• Work alongside our supervisory team who will support you throughout every show
• Sign in/out with store managers and adhere to show procedures

Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Reliable transportation to reach retail locations in your area
• Strong communication skills and a friendly, outgoing personality
• Ability to work weekends (typically Saturday and/or Sunday)
• Must obtain your own independent liability insurance (required for all contractors)
• Prior wine knowledge is a plus — but not required. We provide training.

Compensation

Up to $25 per hour, based on experience. As an independent contractor, you'll be responsible for your own taxes and insurance.
